The story of Hotel Moresco began in the 1960s, just as seaside tourism was emerging along the Ligurian coast. My father, a child of Diano Marina, witnessed the arrival of the first travelers drawn to the natural beauty and mild climate of the Riviera dei Fiori. Driven by his love for his hometown and his desire to share it, he set out to build a welcoming place unlike any other.

His dream? That every room would feel like a balcony overlooking the bay of Diano Marina. And so he designed the hotel with unique architecture, conceived to offer each guest an uninterrupted view of the sea. Every room faces the azure horizon and features its own private balcony, inviting guests to fully enjoy the ever-changing beauty of the Mediterranean.
In the Mediterranean garden, he built a sun-drenched solarium and a saltwater swimming pool, so the gifts of Ligurian nature would be at the heart of the experience: the pure water of the Mediterranean, the generous sunshine of the Riviera, and the soft, refreshing sea breeze that soothes both body and spirit. Beneath the olive trees, he planted aromatic herbs, tomatoes, and zucchini — local flavors growing right next to the kitchen.

The hotel has evolved over time, modernizing its facilities while staying true to the founding values passed down by my father: genuine, warm hospitality, respect for nature, and simple yet essential comfort. Today, we continue to live by this philosophy with passion — so that every stay with us becomes a memorable escape, lived at the soothing rhythm of the sea.
Since 2025, Edoardo Brizzi, son of the founder, has taken over the direct management of Hotel Moresco in Diano Marina. With passion and dedication, he carries on the family spirit of hospitality, service, and sharing initiated by his father in the 1960s. Edoardo has led a full renovation, offering guests optimal comfort while preserving the warm and authentic atmosphere of the hotel. Natural materials such as wood, raffia, and shimmering green zellige tiles — reminiscent of the olive trees surrounding the property — bring charm and serenity to the rooms, while the bathrooms now open onto breathtaking sea views. The Brizzi family continues to embody the authenticity, generosity, quality, and simplicity that make this hotel a unique gem in Liguria.
